So far, because the entry barrier is low, permanent magnetic materials industry are gradually becoming competitive industry. Price of magnetic materials keeps decreasing. China Maintains High Pressure to Strike Illegal Behavior of Rare Earth 20150403

Recently, an announcement is jointly issued by Ministry of Industry and Information, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Land and Resource, Ministry of Environmental Protection, General Administration of Customs, State Administration of Taxation, Administration of Industry and Commerce and Administration of Safety and Supervision, which requires relevant regions to investigate and penalize illegal behaviors of rare earth .

It is understood that the abovementioned departments and Association of China Rare Earth Industry form four inspection teams heading for Anhui, Jiangsu, Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Jiangxi and Sichuan, which perform an inspection on striking illegal behavior of rare earth in each place.

In recent years, relevant departments pay much attention to striking illegal behavior of rare earth industry. From August, 2013, seven ministries and commissions including Ministry of Industry and Information, Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Environmental Protection carried out a special action for three months to strike illegal behaviors in exploitation, production, and circulation of rare earth.

However, after a year of cracking down on violation, a black industrial chain of rare earth gradually surfaces. In order to avoid the government’s supervision and regulation, some rare earth manufacturers which has been closed begin to transfer and continue illegal production, of which the output are surprisingly large.

In fact, the reason why these “black manufacturers” can produce illegally is that there is a huge demand in foreign countries. Those manufacturers are blinded by gain and totally overlook laws and regulations and safe of people.
Comparing with legal businesses of rare earth, the “black manufacturers” are more competitive. On one hand, those manufacturers secretly buy cheap raw materials from illegal mines. On the other hand, they are not restricted by mandatory production plan, which reduces a great deal of money invested in environmental equipment. Therefore, although they keep low price, they can also gain considerable profits.

Currently, the eight departments perform joint actions, which shock the illegal behaviors to some extent. But more important is that the relevant departments maintain high pressure to strike the illegal behaviors.

Prospect of post market is promising, especially that of heavy rare earth products. On one hand, because of national macro policies of rare earth industry, prices are continuing going up. On the other hand, the export to America is expected to expand. America’s economy has obvious recovery. Also, as a big importing country, consumption of rare earth is rising significantly. America’s import of heavy rare earth is all depended on China.

Industrial insiders believe that for a long time in the future, there is polarization between prices of light and heavy rare earth. Price of heavy rare earth continues rising, but light rare earth may decrease. For a long run, price of light rare earth may remain unchanged or go down. But on the contrary, demand of heavy rare earth possibly exceeds supply, which may drive price up.

So far, only China can supply all 17 rare earth elements for the whole world, which covers 90% of international market. China has the largest reserve of rare earth, but that of heavy rare earth only occupies 3%. Meanwhile, heavy rare earths are widely applied to military industry, nuclear reactor and computers, so they are strategic. Reserve and production of light rare earth are larger and neodymium permanent magnet materials can be taken place by industrial new materials.

All indications are that follow-up industrial policies come out in succession, which will intensify different market trends of prices of two rare earths. Because cancel of export quota and custom duties, domestic light rare earth starts competing with foreign light rare earth. Experts advise that China should accelerate research and development of light rare earth products and expand consumption market of light rare earth. However, no matter light or heavy rare earths, both of them will be tested by demand of international market.

Brief Introduction 
Magnetic driving pumps, short for magnetic pumps, are new products that using the working theory of permanent magnetic couplings . With reasonable design and advanced techniques, magnetic pumps are fully sealed and corrosion-resistant, without leakage. When motor drives external rotators to rotate, magnetic field penetrates into air gaps and non-magnetic materials as well as drives inner magnetic rotator to rotate synchronously. Working Theory
Permanent magnets of brushless directory magnetic driving pumps and impellers form a rotator, in which there is a shaft sleeve molded by injecting. Through high-performance ferrite shaft, it is fixed in the shell. Between stators and rotators, there is a film needing no traditional mechanical shaft seals, so the magnetic pumps are fully sealed. Twisting force of motors, through coils of stators with power on, drives permanent magnetic rotators to rotate. Without outside force, magnetic poles repel each other and magnetic force will be back to lowest magnetism. Therefore, magnets produce motions, which drive magnetic rotators to rotate.
Through electrical reversing, brushless direct current magnetic pumps do not need carbon brushes. There are multi-poles in magnetic rotators and silicon stators. When magnetic rotators rotate in a certain angle, direction of magnetic field will change, which make rotators keep repelling the same poles. In this way, brushless DC magnetic separated pumps have high rotating speeds and efficient.
Stators of magnetic pump are totally separated from rotators, avoiding leaking problems of traditional brushless DC water pumps. It can used in water for it is water-proof, which effectively lengthens service life and improve performance of magnetic pumps.
