The application of rare earth in petrochemical industry
Rare earth can be used as catalyst of many inorganic and organic chemistry reactions. Used in catalytic cracking refining crude oil, it can significantly increase the productive rate of light oil.
Petroleum distilled directly gets only 15% ~ 20% of gasoline, while the achieved gasoline can reach 80% of the crude oil by adding rare earth catalytic cracking. Rare earth catalyst are also used in motor vehicle exhaust purification, synthetic rubber, paint drier, plastic stabilizer, rare earth polymer materials and many other fields.
